In the fourth century B.C., Gallic troops invaded Italy and even managed to plunder Rome. In 2007, Italy was preparing to make a voice of Celtic inspiration heard with the formation of Furor Gallico. This expression, used by the Romans to describe the blood thirst of Celtic warriors, contrasts with the sophistication of the group's tracks, which include Celtic harp, violin, flute or even bouzouki. Among many other folk metal bands that flourish especially in bloodshed and fury, the compositions of these particular Italians shine with a certain levity, rather dancing or more melancholic. Their third album, "Dusk of the Ages", will be released on January 18, 2019, and one can only await its presentation at (the?) Cernunnos, at which Furor Gallico has already honored the 8th edition of its presence.
